EAR MOUNTED MICROPHONES

These stereo ear mounted microphones are available with different types of cardioid (uni-directional), and omni-directonal microphone elements to choose from, including Audio Technica series. The microphone assembly is constructed with a set of flexible rubber coated gooseneck bodies designed to be worn and conform to each individuals ears, making them extremely comfortable to wear as well as offering the ability to aim the mics very accurately at the sound source. These mics are excellent when choosing cardioid microphones to reduce background or crowd noise, as well as omni's to produce excellent binaural recordings. There is an optional mount being designed (not yet available) to mount the mics on a stand as well. The cable exiting the mic body is 1 meter in length and is terminated with a right angle stereo mini plug. The Premium Audio Technica slimline series available are comparable to the AT853's, but much smaller.
